I'm sick of outlook express, what other good alternatives are there?
Some features which i really liked in express though are the fact that
threads are grouped and that each newsgroup is listed under its own
folder. Not sure if that is part of all of them or what, i've never
known anything except Netscape's' news reader or again Outlook express

Agent is great. Get the paid-for version, $29 or something.

XNews, without a doubt. Better yEnc (binary) support than Agent.

Another long time Forte Agent user here. They have a free version with
fewer features so you can give it a test drive and see if the look &
feel are comfortable to you. The free version isn't time limited.

AGENT. I like it the best and it is the easiest for me.
