I believe there is four wires in the telephone receiver. So, which two wires go to the microphone and which two go to the speaker? Help needed.If possible suggest me a recommended websites or books.thank you!

You have a cable with 4 wires to a telephone handset. You need to know which wires are which.
Open the handset then see which wires go where.

Hello,

What do you mean with "telephone receiver"?
If it is the horn of an old analog telephone, there will be two wires for the speaker and two wires for the mike.
