Hello Guys,

I found this circuit. It should tell the user if the water is too cold, to hot or the correct temperature to bath a baby.
At the moment, this circuit only tells the user is the water temperature is too hot, or below the chosen temperature. So at the moment, this circuit only has 2 outputs.

Is there any way of adding another output to the circuit, so that it can also warn the user if the water temperature is too cold?

Thanks in advance.

Sorry, but I'm not an expert in this sector.

Is this a complete circuit by itself, or should I integrate it in my previous circuit?

Thanks

When my kids were babies, we used our elbow. No batteries, failsafe and accurate.

It would be easier to make one from scratch than to modify the circuit you have.

There is nothing mysterious about a window comparator. It is just one comparator for the high end and one for the low end.

Using a standard comparator IC with open collector outputs, the two outputs can be wired together to a single pullup resustor to give a low signal when out of range and a high signal when in range.

If this is a school project, aren't you supposed to do the work, or at least understand the circuit that you "borrow?"

I AM understanding it.

I just wanted someone else's opinion.
Thanks

What is the IC? Does it have a ground connection?

The IC is the following: TCA965

Yes, it should have a ground connection, as you can see here.

For more info you can Google this: TCA965 Datasheet
