I've got a TrippLite isolator that blew due to what I think was a faulty cellphone charger being used. The model is an IS500. Here are some pics.

I can Identify the brown one by just simply looking at the one that's still in in one piece... but the disk cap has gotten me confused. Its fried so I cant look up the part number.

I've tried to contact Tripplite support directly but they just tried to sell me a new one. Could anyone help me identify it so I can order new ones to replace them? I'd hate to see a good isolator go to waste.

Btw First time on this fourm, found it with a google search. Took a look around and bookmarked for sure! :D

Thats not a cap it's a MOV, It helps reduce noise and spikes on the power line. If you remove it your isolator should work again. If you want to replace it you can use a V130LA10A MOV.

Yeah, it was almost certainly damaged by an incoming power spike (Is this the incoming power supply connector?). Notice that it has possibly damaged the capacitor next to it. I'd replace both even if it it likely only the MOV has failed.

Temporarily remove both and see if the device operates. If it does, unplug it and don't use it again until you have replaced these parts.

If it does not, then the fault progressed further than the MOV.
