Troubleshooting Pioneer VSX 1021 Receiver

I was given this receiver with it being stuck in the protect mode with the flashing mcacc light so it wouldn't turn on. When I bypass the auto protect mode by holding down tune down and zone 2 on/off, the receiver turns on then off again. Could someone help me troubleshoot the inside of this receiver and possibly help lead me in the right direction of replacing the parts causing the issue? Your time is much appreciated. Thank You
