trying to stream video from battery powered camera to laptop

hi! i'm currently doing a project in which one aspect of it is to take a video feed from a 12 V camera and stream it wirelessly to my laptop. does anyone have any hardware or software tips that could help me? thank you!

hi Bob

well the easiest way would be to use a pair of 2.4GHz TX/RX units
A/V out of the camera into the transmitter and A/V from the receiver into a video capture card/dongle for the laptop

Presto all done :)

Unless you are required to DIY, you can simply use wireless webcams that can be picked up for chump change nowadays, just put them on the same local network as the computer and presto...

I am not an expert at this in the least, but if one say takes a video on an Iphone, it automatically ends up in the "cloud" which then automatically ends up on the Mac computer.

There must be an equivalent thing for the PC and Windows.
Or connect your camera to a phone and transmit the video as you would normally to the web and your PC.

I was planning to remotely steer a robot by attaching an Iphone to it and Skyping back pictures to my PC wirelessly.
