Tube Receiver Audio Matching Transformer

Ok, have a gnarly ARC-5 Military receiver that requires a 600 Ohm audio output.
I dont understand the normal matching transformers that seem to have pinouts that are listed in voltages, rather than resistances.
I think a 120vac to 6vac transformer should be 600ohms and 8 ohms APPROXIMATELY!!!...I THINK.
What should I be using??

Next up...the rest of the voltages required for this monster

a 600 ohm speaker has a pretty long coil inside it, it couldnt mean that could it?

The 600 Ohms is characteristic of overhead telephone wire. The receiver may have been part of a network that uses phones. Try using a output transformer from an old transistor amp/radio.
