Only Analysis Of The Unobtainable Relays
S1R9A9M9 work shop Tech drawing was given showing the dual electromagnetic coils traffic control relays being used as black Bakelite covered, air sealed and under vacuum, with no mount bracket, no part number or make, with outside screw terminals on 2 sides. Extreme high quality made so as to last for extended period of time with reliability for 24hr traffic control, mounted in pole box, in extreme weather conditions in state of Georgia. These (new- replacements) were incorrectly assumed to be for 120v AC but had very low .6-.7 ohms resistance and would have been used on 6VAC or less. Size of each actual coil inside cover was 1 3/4" by 3/4" of 21 gauge insulated 200 degrees Celsius magnet wire. From electronics data book chart / graph , 60 cycles Frequency matched with flat edge ruler of reactance ohms , shows across to about 2 Millihenry inductance. This center PIVOT ARMATURE relay was a switching back and forth type with latching sides for use as changing the 6v green and red 6v traffic lights in Georgia. There are 6 sets of switching contact points , 4 on top, 2 on bottom, with one diode in between the 2 inductor coils. (1930's-1980) Please identify if possible.
