Hi all :),

I'm building a drone on a Raspberry Pi Pico W and I need advice on how to use a BEC or rather which one. The battery I will be using is here (3S 1800mAh 30C) and BECs I find give out 5V 3A (like this one). Now 3A is the maximum constant current but can I use this to power just my PRI Pico W and is the BEC on the link useful for me to order?

Thanks in advance

Don't see why not.
Directly from the data sheet for Rasberry Pi Pico W ........ Raspberry Pi Pico W uses an on-board buck-boost SMPS which is able to generate the required 3.3V (to power RP2040 and external circuitry) from a wide range of input voltages (~1.8 to 5.5V).

Imagine you need to watch you feed the voltage to the correct power input.

Thank you :).
It seemed okay to me I just wanted to make sure.
