Hey guys, I am making one for this. I think I connected it correctly but then some problem occurs.
When I plug in USB cable B type, below error message shown:

Anyone know why ?
Thank you
Does the UC00B work without the adapter (pluging it directly into the computer's USB port)?
Why do you need an USB A / USB B adapter at all?
Harald, I dont have the A type extension.
@steve,
swapped over means I misconnect them ? I dont think so
I thought I made a mistake once, but I was wrong.
what weird is that, I just solder the USB B type female to a stripboard. Then I plug in the USB B male, then it gave me that error message. LOL
Erm , I am not connecting UC00B. When I plug in the USB B male from printer cable to USB B female from DIY converter, it already gave me the error . I didnt even conenct a device to the USB A type female on the DIY converter. I think does not involve the driver or whatThe connections seem to be o.k..
Try to locate the USB device in the Windows device manager and delete it there. You may have to install a suitable driver for the UCB001 board before connecting it to the PCB.
Do you get the error if you only plu in the cable to the PC, nothing on th eother end of the cable (no PCB at all)?
