I am building a button panel for my home with 20 buttons or so.
Each button will trigger an action through node-red on a Raspberry Pi.
Rather than using the GPIO pins, I would rather use a USB keyboard controller. Easier than wiring up GPIO's and also has more inputs.
But taking a USB keyboard apart and soldering wires onto the pcb of the keyboard is really tedious work.
So I am trying to find a USB Keyboard PCB control board with easier custom wiring somehow.
Anyone here in Maker land have any suggestions to this?
