Hi,
I'm making a small fishtank hood using LEDs,
the LEDs are to be powered using Buckpuck drivers,
these in turn need to be powered.
I need to supply 20V at 1.4A
Does anyone know if i could use a laptop power supply rated at 20V, 2A.DC
i.e will the circuits only draw the current needed or will the power supply force 2A through the drivers and blow them?

Any help much appreciated!!

A power supply rated for a higher current is acceptable. The devices will only draw the current they require.
