Vista 15p and wireless contact question

Two firsts for me today, first wireless system and first Ademco panel, the
Vista-15p. No problems during install but while i was enroling the wireless
contacts i found that two had the same serial number. Is this common? I
realize that i can have separate zones using Loop 1 and Loop 2, it was just
unexpected. Also, while training the customer I armed in Stay mode, let the
delay expire but when i opened the door the panel when into immediate alarm.
I know I didn't arm Instant or Maximum. My programming shows the correct
zone type and its a single partition system. While I was double-checking,
the customer took a phone call and we bumped the demo until tomorrow. Since
its my first Vista system, I'm sure I've missed something simple. Any help
is welcome, thanks in advance.

It is possible that while you are learning one RF device, someone else
walked infront of a motion or open a door that has already been learned.

Wait for few more seconds after the exit time before you open the
entry/exit door.

Like AJ said, maybe another zone was triping such as a motion or
another door switch. Ive never seen duplicate numbers in the past 6
years of installing alot of Ademco wireless (its the only brand we
install and service). But then again there is a first for everything.
Does the serial numbers on the sticky label match exact?? If so
contact your dealer for a replacement.

As for arming in stay and the no delay, this happens sometimes when
you first come out of programming, so just wait a bit. You can hit #2
to quick reset the panel instead of waiting for it (if you see D1).
Also make sure the delay is programmed into the panel.
