Voice Recognition

I was wandering if there was anyone with programming experience, because I want to create a device for voice recognition and would change slides as you said the words, like you said the first words of the next slide and it would pull up that slide. I was planning to use it to go through lyrics so it might have to skip slides and go back to previous slides.

There are robot voice recognition chips out there, but depending on the amount of words it might be best (cost effective) to go to a full blown computer solution, instead of building one... Especially when you can now get small form factor single board computers with a small solid state drive for a few hundred dollars, and use over the counter software...
