Hi need some help..

Have a 11.4volt Li-Poly battery pack that i want to use to power a 9.6v dc
electric motor
in a BB gun. Can anyone help in suggesting a way to reduce voltage to 9.6v.
The motor
draws 14amps at full power.

Thanks

Roger.

Two silicon diodes in series with the motor will drop the voltage down to 10
volts which should not be a problem for the motor. Make sure the diodes have
at least a 14 amp current rating and a 9.8 watt power rating.

Actually I don't see why over-driving the motor by 1.8 volt would be much of
a problem for a DC motor, especially if the duty cycle was low
