Water-Tight Connector ???!!!

I haave a radio control submarine that is faaar too complicated and faar too many screws to take apart every time I have to charge the battery pack. Is there some sort of waterproof dc connector that I can use to charge , that I can hide in the conning tower??

You might want to take a look at these. The're rated at IP68 for continuous submersion.

These connectors are cheap. They are labeled waterproof, but they are not water tight. If you are using a low voltage DC and not running in salt water these should be fine. Just watch your polarity. You should be able to find them at radio shack or an auto part store.

Keep it simple and cheap, since RC subs don't go to extreme depths, pressure won't be great...

I would get something like this...

If you get two of the above plug sets you can make a 'cap' with one of the sets by adding some silicone and you no have a cap for the plug that you wire into the sub... Use the other set to make a charging dongle...
