I'm having trouble finding a replacement tip for the iron on my Weller 921Z. I believe the 921Z is obsolete, but there must be a source of supply for the tips. There is no model number on the detachable iron. Sure would like to know where or if, tips might be available
Thanks,

Do you have a good picture of the tip you need?

Not sure how good this pix may be, but this is the best I was able to come up with. It has a number U9016 stamped on it in the blue area.
Thanks for the speedy response

What holds it in place, a set screw?

When the knurled nut is screwed on the threads that are showing, the sleeve holds the tip in place.

I would buy a square or round 1/4 inch copper rod, what ever size you need, the rods can be bought in 12 inch or longer lengths, cut to length and file or grind the shape to match the original.
These rods are usually under $10 and you'll likely be able to make more than one in about a half hour.
