Are the spade terminals 6.3mm or 8mm?
Not sure why it has yellow seals on the male terminals, so would guess that it is not original.

there is a QR code on that battery pack do you have a QR code reader take a photo.A half an hour Google search? Get back in there.
What does it go to a scooter? Try googling connectors for battery packs.
And wear gloves your cuticles need attending!!! Yuck.

First up, you need to measure the pin spacings...............as my eye is not THAT good, here is a link to a 4.5mm example.

However, once again, if you change both ends, who cares what type or how many pins it has on the one you have there, as long as the new one is polarised.

Thanks. After a bit more hunting I think I’d narrowed it down to something like a 2-pin ATX connector or Molex Microfit 3.0. But yes, this time I might just replace it with a different connector. Alternatively, could I charge the (36v lithium) battery through the discharge port? Advantages: it has a nice simple XT connector. Would this mess with the cell balancing, risk overheating etc? I think it was what the guy was doing who I bought the battery off, given the charge he included, but I’m not sure it’s best practice.

Think of it as a one-way Street
The discharge port goes only to a controller to power the system. What is your application? If you would like an in-depth explanation before you make a bomb out of that battery pack then you must disclose all information. There will be no warning it'll blow you up and burn whatever is around the battery pack. You're going to be featured in your local news headlines!!! If you still have a head left to feature.

With the correct charger, in theory, yes...but no balance charge on the cells and that could upset the billy cart.

Please be careful what you're doing even if the battery pack just starts to smoke water won't help it'll reignite and the area be filled with toxic fumes.
