Hi all,

I am attempting to replicate a board which is no longer manufactured, and am identifying components, I have done all but 1, and was hoping someone might be able to help.

I have attached a picture, it's the round black component (looks much like a capacitor) Printed on the board is PTC200

Printed on the component is "bTh 150" or "bTn 150"

Many thanks in advance

/Tom

Hi
looks like a blurry photograph of a positive temperature coefficient thermistor, or "spike eater", often used across the mains to absorb high-voltage spikes.

I agree on both of those. It's definitely blurry, and the board seems to indicate it's a PTC. In fact there appear to be 2 or three PTC's.

PTC's are not really spike eaters though. Here is a url that describes their uses.
