Hello,

When you fully insert a USB type C cable into a socket there's a "click". I couldn't find a diagram or USB specifications file that shows where the tiny spring or some other metal/plastic part is responsible for this.
I'm not talking about micro-usb, where the hooks are visible.
I have USB parts that I need to make more tight or more loose so I have to understand how it works.

Thank you for your answers, if you have any information about this.

Best regards

The USB specification, document #8 in the downloadable zip folder, should have all the required information.

Thank you!
To anyone who had the same question, you can look at file "USB Type-C Specification Release 1.3.pdf" for example, page 118 about "side latches".
