Hi. I have an extension power bar with MCOV (Max Continuous Operating Voltage) of 120 V. And then it says I(n) = 3kA.
What does I(n) mean? Current for any application?
I assume it means 3000 Amps.
I have an electric stove rated 1500 Watts.
So, it should be fine right?
I took 1500 Watts, divide that by 120 V = around 12.5 Amps.
Is my reasoning correct?
