Favorite operating system
I would like to try linux, but there are are a few types of it. I like XP for the ability to play about with the OS boot time load, shutting stuff of you dont need or use, some background programs. Loads of software is compatable, maybe windows 7 will be better in a year or two, all new OS's have issues, XP has support from MS until 2014, longer if many are still using it. people like control, playing with user control, and hardware / software. Control of the OS is interesting. Dave.
