why are theese cables connected to my ebike battery

i have question i have a dechatlon ebike (est 100) and i want to replace the controller but the controller i want have two cables for the power a red and black wire and my ebike battery has lots of cables comming out of it ( 1 thick green wire and one thick yellow whire and many smal wires)
i wil put a photo of it down below can somebody tell me where al these wires are for and how i can fix it

Likely individual cell connections to monitor charge balance.
Unlikely you can "fix" anything as these would be required and the battery would be sealed.

Battery packs communicate with electric controls and charger circuits by reporting temperature of cells, signature of type of pack, current in and out, charging inlet wire, protection status, each with an individual wire besides supply +/- ... Obtain manufacturer information and schematics before alter or replace the controller.

Geez! Talk the talk but don't walk the walk. Because you have an e-bike no need to walk. there's a tiny bit more to it. more information is needed before any advice can be given! you're almost there keep on pulling it back and you'll see the controller. This is only an example! And I'm not blowing smoke.
