Maybe the punch line is that corporations have no reason for acting as they
do!

This is so far off topic that it's coming back again!

I run a small corporation (very small) and I'm neither greedy nor
particularly rich.

As with all groups made up of people, there are good corporations and bad
corporations. Recently, we've seen some of the worst exposed and their
officers punished. Not by due process of law, which is sadly lacking in the
tooth department in the case of such activities, but by having their
incompetence, their criminality and their ineptitude exposed to their peers
and the public at large.

But just because an organisation is a corporation, it isn't automatically
evil. The corporations that hit the headlines, Enron, Global Crossing et al
became infamous because their greed and incompetence reached epic
proportions and eventually they were no longer able to hide behind "creative
accounting". Not all corporations are like these, and, face it, the
alternative is socialism, and we've seen how well that works!

I'm not defending the activities of some corporations, whose treatment of
their employees, their customers and their stockholders is little short of
criminal, and often crosses the line into criminality, but don't tar all
corporations with the same brush.

Actually, much of the behaviour seen in corporate life, so well documented
by Scott Adams, can be explained by the Peter Principle. Individuals are
promoted until they reach their level of incompetence and stay there. Why
don't their bosses know they are incompetent? Well, how did their bosses
get to their level in the corporate hierarchy?

Then your lack of success makes you necessarily an exception to all
the vicious abusive things you'd LIKE to do to the rest of us if
only you were successful.

------------
It strictly serves the enrichment of its owners over everyone else
on earth by any means it can get away with, this totally fulfills
the exact description of Ultimate Evil!

The corporations that hit the headlines, Enron, Global Crossing et al
became infamous because their greed and incompetence reached epic
proportions and eventually they were no longer able to hide behind "creative
accounting".
--------------
They simply made mistakes and got caught doing something which they
failed to first make legal for corporations to do by bribery and
manipulation of representative government.

Not all corporations are like these, and, face it, the
alternative is socialism, and we've seen how well that works!

No, actually, you haven't, you keep asserting without example or
any good faith showing, that Russia/China are somehow "communist",
when they quite obviously violate the VERY FIRST CONDITIONS THAT
ARE ABSOLUTELY PREREQUISITE FOR A COMMUNISM, an entire and complete
elimination of the rich class!!! Both Soviet Russia AND China serve(d)
a Plutocratic party of modern-day feudalistic nobles whom the slaves
at the bottom serve and enrich!

In your quest to be disingenuous about Communism, you are willing to
take both those rich castes TRUE at their LIE to their own people and
pretend that what they offer actually IS Communism, which you KNOW
is and must be a lie, a joke between you and the rich Chinese and
former Russian Politburo, which was and IS merely used to delude
their serf-classes into thinking that they cannot do ANY better
than to be enslaved by SOME more advantaged group, and when you
know full well this is a LIE which you perpetuate MERELY because you
wish to FINALLY BE THAT GROUP HERE!!

I'm not defending the activities of some corporations, whose treatment of
their employees, their customers and their stockholders is little short of
criminal, and often crosses the line into criminality, but don't tar all
corporations with the same brush.
---------------------
ALL corporations are the essence of the abuse of feudalism, complete
with enslavement, and the divine right of the kings/nobility.

Actually, much of the behaviour seen in corporate life, so well documented
by Scott Adams, can be explained by the Peter Principle. Individuals are
promoted until they reach their level of incompetence and stay there. Why

The book was much better, but you have to know what a truly sane
and just society looks and feels like before you can properly judge
this one.

In a sane and just society:

1) No one is without a home they own, free and clear, and which they
inherit by the divine right of being a member of the chief species
of this planet. No one can take it from them, no matter what they do.
They cannot sell it, but they can trade it straight across for another
home if both owners agree.

2) Everyone works a minimum number of hours aweek, a number set by
Majority Democracy, and if they do not, they cannot obtain food of
any kind from any source but eating bugs. Work is guaranteed, if
you want work, and report for it, the society will find it and pay
you for it. This also pays for all consumable supplies and medical
care, utilities, and transportation.

3) No one is paid more per hour than anyone else for any work that
the Democratic Majority decides to authorize. and No other work CAN
be paid. Extra-minimum labor hours can be used to buy consumer items
above and beyond free food and consumables. You can work as many
additional labor hours as you wish for these. You order them and the
order for them generates the order for the labor to be authorized
and paid. The economy makes what people want only as fast as they
want to work for it.

4) Savings no longer exists, loans are no longer necessary, business
no longer exists. Retirement is State funded.

Used items can only be traded for each other, straight across, money
doesn't exist and cannot be used to buy used items. People who connive
to become "rich" or somehow advantaged by trade in used items are
punished, or barred from trade altogether.

5) NO one is permitted to seek advantage over others, they are ONLY
allowed to seek improvement of their skills and fulfillment in their
hobby activities.

NO MORE BULLYING OF ANY KIND IN SOCIETY!!

Hey, dumbass, if you knew anything about conservation of bandwidth you'd
realize that's it's customary to trim a monstrous post to the minimum
needed to convey meaning.

Actually, if you were concerned about conservation of banwidth at all,
you'd just stop posting, since there is really nothing worthwhile to be
gleaned, even, from your trash.
