Does anybody any material about these kind of antennas?? Im googling
around but all i got was some datasheets, and I want some explanation
about how they work!

Thanks!

Biconical is not a broadband antenna, the radiating elements are dipoles.
Easy to understand also, it is just dipoles wrapped in a circle and a
circular reflector (dish like, parabolic in cross section) or two wide
(squat) cones one above and one below. The analysis follows simply.

Fractal antennas are vastly more difficult to analyze, having crushed
graduate students posting here twice.

Victor,

Focused wave Technology antennas provide wideband wdith opeation and a
choice of bea pattern. Plus as these antennas are miniautrized using an
inovvative (an now patented) technique, they occpuy 1/8 te volume of
full sized antnneas. For the newly licensed UWB band (apporx 4-9 GC)
fwt group has a small and well beahved (well matched0 devcie. the
contruction of the antenna enables a place on th substrate to place the
uwb source and receiver...right ont the antenna elements. this become
crcuial for uwb systems aspects.
Contact me for any special desig requirments.
