Wifi controller for a linear actuator

I am trying to figure out how to wire a smart controller I found to a linear actuator to open a door to my doggie door. The actuator only has 2 leads and is controlled by simply reversing the polarity but the wiring diagram for the controller I found shows an actuator with 4 leads. I am not using a physical switch. They may just be incompatible. Would anyone have any thoughts or suggestions for wiring or on different smart controller?

The controller is made for AC mains operated motors, 2 per "curtain". It activates either the AC output ("L") for "up" or for "down" to control a curtain.
Your actuator is meant to be used with 12 V (DC) and, as you observed, direction is controlled by the polarity of the voltage.

These two are completely incompatible. You will need a controller that issues 12 V (DC) with the correct polarity for controlling the motion of the actuator.
