What is the standard color of wire must be used (based on their applications) in designing an electronic project?
Red for positive, Black for negative, what else? Thankyou .
Btw. Electronicspoint helps me a lot. :) more power!

AC mains wires are colour-coded too, but the code varies from one country to another.

For general electronic circuitry there is no set colour.
For control wiring in N.A. the colours are spelt out in NFPA79.

For mains wiring there are mandatory colors; for your own low-voltage wiring on a project, there are no requirements. I usually (but not always) use the following scheme:

Positive supply voltage (e.g., +5V, +3.3V, +12V, etc.): Red
Ground: Black
Negative supply voltage: Blue
Digital logic signals: White
Analog signals: Yellow
Special signals I want to quickly locate: some other color like purple, orange, grey, etc.

You would be better off measuring the voltages rather than assuming a colour preference. In the security industry for vehicle wiring we use black so no one can tell which is which :)
