I'm looking for an off the shelf or self-built wireless on off switch. I really don't have much of a clue where to start, but I've read a number of things which hint at an R/C type remote.

Requirements:
Receivers must be small. they must fit in a small plastic cavity. Receiver should be around the size of a car keychain remote transmitter.
The receivers will close a circuit to turn on 6V battery powered motors. Depending on the day, I might use 2 or 4 or 6 motors.
One receiver per motor, motors are drawing around .2-.5 A, I'm not quite sure, thats a guess based on battery life.
Extra features might be to allow me to say turn on motors 1-4 with one button and 5-6 with another.
If it works well, I might have some 12V motors as , something that will work on 6v or 12v would be nice.
Range should normally be under 60 yards, but often closer than 20 yards.

I would prefer RF and I want a single remote, if possible. Separate on and off buttons would be nice in case one motor fails to shut off or on during a press of the switch.

Thanks.
