Hi,

Anybody got a line on an x-10 interface to the power line. I don't want
a commercial unit, just some circuits to look at. I've Googled this to
death and not gotten anywhere.

There's some info in Microchip application note 236.
St.com has a ST7 8-bit mcu family user guide with some
additional info. Not sure they can be easily found today.

There used to be tons of stuff on the web, but all the links I
tried are broken. I have schematics for some of the remote modules
if you have a specific request.

Have you tried the Circuit Cellar magazine web site? www.circuitcellar.com

Just in case anyone else is looking, the first two links found here:

http://www.circuitcellar.com/HCS/PDFindex.htm

Contain just about everything you might want to know about X-10
transmission. The articles are:

Power-Line Based Computor Control-The X-10 PL513 Power line Interface
Module, by Ken Davidson, #3,1988, pg.4.

The X-10 TW523 Two-Way Power Line Interface-A Step toward closed-loop
power control, by Ken Davidson, #5,1988, pg.34.

And of course there is a whole load of other great articles about home
automation stuff there too.
