Hi Guys thought you might like to have a go at a puzzle. Take a 1V battery (Theoretical) and add two series resistor from + to - first resistor 100R and second resistor 900R. The point where they join we will call point A and where the 900R connects back to the battery - we will call point B.
Connect a DMM across the 900R and tell me the voltage drop.
Now remove the battery and connect the bottom end of the 100R to the bottom end of the 900R. Now have a magnetic field at a point in time induce the same 1V across the circuit between point A and B. Current is in the same direction as before.
Connect a DMM across the 900R and tell me the voltage.
Connect a DMM across the 100R and tell me the voltage.
I bet you all get it right. Probably not a very good puzzle after all.
