Zenith TV Part Source

Greetings! A friend of mine was moving his TV the other day and broke the
coaxial cable input connector off. He soldered it back on the board, but is
getting fuzzy reception on channels 40 and below. He needs a new PCB, or the
actual coaxial F-style connector that gets soldered onto the main PCB. Below
are the specs of his model number. Can anyone help? He doesn't have $100 to
spring for a new board, so any help locating either a used one or junk one
would be appreciated.

Why replace the board when it probably needs just the tuner or rf
switch?
Provided more damage was not done during the repair attempt, a good
technician can replace the rf connector with a new one that is made to
be soldered.

I'd help him out as I'm somewhat experienced with chip-level board repair
and have a pretty decent Weller rig, but have no idea where to get the
connector. That's sort of why I'm fishing for a junk board. Do you have any
ideas on where to get a new connector?

This may be a stupid question, but did you open up the tuner and
solder the center pin of the coax connector to the board? I doubt the
connector is bad. I've always been able to reuse the old connector
unless it got lost.

the tuner will be physically on the tuner. tuner will be available from a
Zenith/LG parts supplier.

I usually just used the RCA coax connector in cases where the original
is missing, at least. Due to its construction, with the
multi-sectioned surround, I'd just break enough sections off to make
it fit in the hole. Good solder all around and it's back to normal.
