Selected teams can access engineering guidance, haptics resources and integration support to help bring more differentiated tactile experiences into products

TITAN Haptics, a specialist in advanced haptic solutions, has launched TITAN Haptics Launchpad in the United States, extending its global haptics engineering expertise to hardware startups developing innovative products where tactile interaction can strengthen user experience, product differentiation and perceived quality.

The new global initiative gives selected startups access to an in-kind package valued at up to US$60,000, including haptics engineering guidance, certification support, motor credits, hardware resources, and global ecosystem connections to support product development and market readiness. Every year, TITAN selects three startups. For fast-moving US hardware teams, the initiative is designed to help address common haptics integration challenges, from architecture planning and motor or module selection to tactile effect tuning and product integration.

“Hardware startups often have strong product ideas and a clear understanding of their users, but haptics can be difficult to optimize without specialist engineering experience. With years of experience working with hardware teams, TITAN understands that turning haptic concepts into great user experiences requires specialized engineering expertise. Through TITAN Haptics Launchpad, we want to make our haptics expertise, development resources and integration support more accessible to innovative teams creating products where touch can make the experience more intuitive, responsive and differentiated.”

The US hardware innovation ecosystem continues to generate new product concepts across gaming, robotics, XR, wearables, wellness, smart devices, toys, automotive interfaces and other interactive applications. As these products become more intelligent, connected and user-led, tactile feedback can play a larger role in how people experience, control and respond to technology.

For startup teams, however, creating a good haptic experience is not simply a matter of adding vibration. It requires decisions around actuator selection, mechanical integration, signal design, tuning and the way tactile effects support the wider product experience. These challenges can be difficult to manage when teams are also working through industrial design, electronics, software, manufacturability and go-to-market planning.

TITAN Haptics Launchpad is open to startups developing hardware products that include, or plan to include, some form of tactile interaction. Applicants will be asked to provide information including product category, development stage, application scenario, current haptics requirements and any available indicators of market interest, such as crowdfunding, preorders, channel interest, social engagement, user demand or other early traction.

The Launchpad builds on TITAN Haptics’ experience supporting global hardware brands like Dell and GameSir, and brings that practical engineering knowledge to startup teams developing next-generation products for US and international markets.

“For many hardware teams, the challenge is not simply whether to add vibration, but how to design a tactile experience that feels precise, relevant and valuable to the user. By working with selected startups earlier in the development process, TITAN can help teams evaluate haptics requirements, refine tactile effects and reduce integration risk as they move closer to market.”

TITAN Haptics Launchpad is intended for hardware startups across product categories where touch can improve usability, immersion, safety, feedback or emotional connection. Relevant areas may include gaming devices, robotics, XR, wearables, wellness products, smart devices, automotive interfaces and other interactive hardware applications.

Selected teams may receive support in areas including:

haptics architecture planning;

motor and module selection;

tactile effect design and tuning;

integration guidance;

haptics certification support;

motor credits and hardware resources;

global ecosystem connections and market readiness guidance.

Applications for TITAN Haptics Launchpad opened on July 14, 2026. Startups should submit details of their product category, development stage, tactile interaction requirements and current haptics implementation status by July 31, 2026 for the first cohort. Selected teams will be contacted in August.
