If you are a new website developer or non-tech person, it is important for you to know how an attacker can gather the basic information of your website.
So, let's think like an attacker.
First, the attacker will go for the WHOIS search. Here they can check the server IP, the website owner's name, and address, and other information.
- After a basic search, the attacker will check to see the server your website uses and which language your website is built on.
- For that, there's a website called BuiltWith.
- Enter the website that you want to check into the search bar.
As seen above, you can check to see which platform a particular website is using and the platform it was developed on. Stay tuned for the next lesson.
