Hello,

The given page does not give the input voltage range.
We can not say if it works with an input voltage of 18 Volts.

It’s obviously for vehicle use so will have a wide(ish) input range. It will probably work with 18V but not to its full potential.

Just try it out. Most of the inverters I have used just won't start up under a certain input voltage, some will beep at you.

Do you know if it's a linear or switched-mode type? Most SM versions will work down to (practically) the output voltage.

Agree. There are a lot of fins, but not enough for a linear regulator.

But wait - that statement assumes western science design values. If we assume a cheaper-than-dirt ethic, it *is* a linear regulator, and assumes direct exposure to a 40 mph air stream.
