Anyone got spec for this transistor ? I tried google but could not find the info.

Are you sure that's what it says? All 2SA's I know are no more than 4 digits. The only 5 digit transistor I know of is the MJE series.

my thoughts exactly Res, I have wondered if it's actually a D on the end ?

how about an image (sharp and clear) sifu, a picture tells 1000 words :)

There are two alphabet at the end after 2SA 10180. The full code should be 2SA10180QA.

Sorry about the confusion.

Perhaps a good sharp photo of the device showing the markings clearly will be of assistance?

one of the google links was to a Panasonic colour TV
is that what you are playing with ?

Found the transistor on the circuit diag. Q570, just havent been able to figure out its purpose in the cct

P.S. Steve and I are still waiting for a photo of the transistor :)

This transistor is manufactured by Panasonic. Obviously to their specific needs for several of their TV sets. There may be no readily available data for it
going direct to Panasonic will probably be your only option for a replacement/info
