Planning on making a bench power module from KDM 6275h micro ATX 275w P4-12v the sticker says green PS-on...output remote Turns the supply on.

Then it says orange PW-OK output P.G.
What's the orange ? Power OK...? Output power ground?

Think you've been around long enough now to know....show what you have.

You'll find that the ATX power connector is well defined (see e.g. here).
Power good or PW-OK is
A control signal that is low when other outputs have not yet reached, or are about to leave, correct voltages.

Wanted you to know I learned something... The 4 pin molex is to power a Dc-Dc converter for the low power Pentium 4 cpus which only use a volt or less. I always thought it was a reference line for old 486..duh wrong! It's an old thing, not an an ancient thing...

Because this is a psu for a more modern approach to power management, it may have used latching technologies and tactal contact switches as intermittent contact, for the power on switch. I would like a good primer on this tech, without all the shift register hoohaw so I don't burn it up with a full time on switch

What is the latching voltage of a PC momentary power on switch?

One other debacle on these PWR supplies...

I would assume the ground one uses with each voltage would probably effect the actual signal quite a bit. So assuming I use a case ground( which is what I used to do for power applications only). The ground from a 12v src might effect the 3v signal. So I don't short out, and just to clarify, never use a -12v signal as an earth for a +12v signal ground.
