Hi there!
I was checking SA15CA TVS, which has a reverse stand-off voltage of 15V with my digital analog multimeter. By using the ohm reading mode, the reading was set at a *100 ohm range. After applying + to one side of the diode, - to another and vice versa, these both gave me a very low resistance as if the TVS shorted itself (around 1 ohm). Thereby, I conclude that it has already broken down. My reason is that a 6V battery of the meter can not turn the diode on. As a consequence, if the diode was good, it was impossible to obtain low ohm reading like this.
Am I correct?
