I have a CTX PL7 that got out of adjustment (kids playing with buttons I do
think)..
Anyhow I muck'd around with the 5 buttons and found like the master
brightness & contrast settings (It's possible the monitor has just gone out
of alignment or something) anyhow.. it looks good (GREAT) now and I can once
again see in dark games BUT..

I cant figgure out how to get back out of the master adjustments.. there are
only 4 led's on the left and now they are just constantly flashing ..

Does anyone know how to fix this or have any kind of program, tech info
(related to the buttons) on the PL7.

CTX has told me A) They did not market this monitor (It's still on sale via
a few shops) and B) that they could not support it..

Their site has a PL7.PDF (amazing that isnt it, a document for a
non-marketed product) and it describes the buttons but NOT the part o the
adjustments that I have managed to get into..

I have unplugg'd it for 8 hours and it's still stuck in this mode (any help
would be appreciated)

Hi!

Did you change any refresh rate or resolution settings? I've seen monitors
similar to that which would blank out and then flash all of their indicator
lights to "say" that they were being overdriven. It could be possible that
your monitor is not blanking the video for a variety of reasons.

Try some other resolutions and scan rates and see if the blinking lights go
away.

There is no menu on the monitor so no I dont "think" so .. there is only 5
buttons (and then the power button)..
I just tested it however at 640*480 @ 60, 70, and 72 and it didnt stop
flashing
I also tested 1 res up with no change..
Maybee when I was in the diag section I did adjust something too far, The
intersting thing is that once I got everything set I was just trying to
figgure out how to "exit" that setup so I wouldnt harm anything but that's
how I got here ;( .
