Dallas temperature DS18B20 sketch mod

I wanted to see if I could implement a temperature conversion in a sketch and output the temperature in F instead of C. I am also making it output to an I2C LCD.

Here is my sketch so far. The only thing I can't figure out is the display has some foreign characters after my reading.

Can anyone take a look at the sketch and tell me why I get these weird characters on the display?

I figured out what was happening. I had lcd.println which was causing the odd characters. I removed the 'ln' and all is good.
It seems like I read somewhere that the 1602 does not like carriage returns...
