Experimenting with a 28byj-48 stepper motors, and need some advice.

Speed ok but the 28byj-48 is limited to about 20 rpm. How do I get more speed and good torque?

What are the options for a different stepper this size. Size is a problem, must be no larger than the 28byj-48 and do say up to 60 rpm.
Thanks
Charles

That stepper is geared down quite a bit.
For more torque, you want something in the frame size of a NEMA 14/NEMA 23 range,
For the size you have, just obtain them with no gearing.
The power can vary quite a bit in any given NEMA frame size.

The 28BYJ-48 stepper motor operates at a relatively low speed. If you require even higher speeds and torque, you might need to consider a different stepper motor model altogether. You can consider Nema17.
