is there anyone who can send me info for a simple circuit to drive a
highbrightness led from a 1.5 volt battery.thank you,pete

use 2 batteries in series and put a 22 ohm resistor in series with the LED.
that'll work fine

It depends on the led you are using. A white led would need three batteries in series and a 10-22 ohm resistor or an inverter to
operate off 1.5v. Look up the specs for the one you wish to use.

The resistor depends on the current it draws, but the basic circuit is:

LED Resistor | + 1.5v
