Need help with circuit

Trying to stop the motor from spinning while at the same time activating an led when the motor is off, how can i acheive this without slowing down the rpm of the motor?

Take that relay out of there...In insert your motor where it says lamp use a switch,single pole double throw and you're going to need the associated resistor value(not shown) with your LED depending on what color it is. Because different color LEDs have different forward voltage (Vf) so 9 volts minus the forward voltage of the LED then then divide that to play it safe say 0.01 amps that'll give you the resistance needed.
You will be applying 10 milliamps to your LED.
If you want to use a relay I can show you on a schematic but you have to know how to read schematics I can't do it with pictures on a breadboard sorry....

Look up dynamic braking, you'll find simple circuits online.
Then add the LED through a separate pole of your relay.
