Hi. Don't know if this is the right place, but I have Apogee AD16x that suddenly started to make a very high pitched noise, which I could clearly hear coming from the PSU, I think from inside the circle. The name of the PSU seems to be "Umec UP0651S-02 Power Supply T104618". Instead of trying to find the component that is faulty, (if it isn't obvious) I'd rather by the a new power supply. I have enclosed two pics, the circled one is mine, the other is one I found on the net, but the net version has a electrolytic cap more, so I wondered if they were interchangeable?

It looks like you have made a mistake and uploaded yours twice, once circled and once not.

If the replacement is exactly the same except has an additional capacity where you circled, (C19 and or C20) that is fine, looks like the design originally intended to have those before the bean counters had them removed.

I am assuming you have determined the replacement has the same output voltages and same or higher current ratings, that it's meant for an Apogee AD16x or equivalent.

lol, that is not an other angle, it is just the same pic rotated 90 degrees.

They look the same to me but it is hard to tell with them at different angles to your original pic. Again if the only difference is the additional capacity, that is not a problem, and could even make it superior by offering better filtering.
