Query: 1000uF/6v3 low ESR radial cap 8 x 12 can

Does anyone know of a supplier who has this component available off
the shelf? All suppliers I have tried only have caps with 10mm dia,
nothing in 8mm dia. WES, Farnell and RS don't carry them either. I
have established one supplier who will import but moq is 1000 pcs.

Need qty 40 off for PC motherboard repairs...

** Use low ESR 470 uf caps - the ESR figure matters *far* more than the
number of microfarads.

Eg: Rubycon, ZA series; 105 C, 470 uF, 6.3 volt, 0.043 ohms at 100kHz
in 11.5mm x 8 mm

Farnell cat: 761-886

The other 1000 uf, 6.3 volt caps have * 3 to 5 * times the ESR of this
one.

That's a good suggestion Phil.

I had considered using Hitano EXR series 680uF/10V from WES as their
catalogue said these are available in 8 x 14 but in fact this is a
typo. Hitano's own data sheet shows this cap is 10 x 12.5
