Hi I have a set of 3 LED's that are acually manufactured as LED car dash lights(package only says they are BRIGHT BLUE) that are wired through a little circuit board in series and has what looks like some sort of resistor and is powered by a cigarette lighter adaptor. I want to cut off the cigarette lighter adaptor and use AA's not sure how many i need,if i need to cut them off the circuit board ,and if i need resistors.If so how I would wire everything up.I had a person at an electrical store that sells LED's tell me I dont need resistors,I had someone tell me I need 120 to 150 resistors connected to each LED.Thought I would try to get an opinion from a forum.Thanks .Attached is a pic of what i am working with
