Where do you buy video heads?

Ok - WES don't have it... (Strange!?) Speedy spares wants $60 plus
postage... Is there anywhere else I might find a Sanyo VCR video head
cheaper? (For goodness sake, it's only a standard two-head upper drum
- why so expensive?)

Oh - and does anyone know why WES wouldn't stock it? Or is it just
that they haven't received it in yet? I was hoping to buy a cheaper
daichi version, etc...

It's for a Sanyo VCR, model #VHR-VK210A - and speedy spares' part
number was 6450481000...

Any help appreciated!

Allan.

Found the part at Speedy Spares. So much thanks to those who posted
sensible replies.

Btw... Pity we all can't use this wonderful function in real life...
It certainly would mean less comments from arrogant, loud-mouthed
timewasters like brian. (Must be something about that name too - all
the ones I've met have been sad cases with nothing valuable to offer -
except more vacancies for centrelink staff of course.)

Stop whinging about the price. I had one of the first JVC video
recorders, It went great until the heads wore out. A replacement two
head drum cost me about $110 and that was over twenty years ago.
Allowing for inflation, you're getting a bloody good deal.

Not when a new VCR of the same capability can
be bought brand new full warranty for $150 now.
