My first post here. I would like to find a simple circuit to build so I can control one of those automatronic toys (e.g. Billy bass fish, duck dynasty duck). I would like to remove the original controller and make a new controller that I can have a microphone pickup audio and control the servos. Any help would be appreciated.

You will have to be much more explicit as to how the audio controls the device.

Your post could mean anything from:

You clap twice to activate the toy.

to

The toy moves it’s mouth in response to the lyrics and dances to the beat of the song.

The former is a simple circuit. The latter is a sophisticated embedded computer.

Thanks for the reply Bob, What I would like to do is have this toy pickup the audio from our overhead paging system and make the mouth move. Doesn't have to be sync'd just a lip response when there is a loud noise.
