I am trying to solve the basic circuit but struggling to get the result.

I get 0.33A and 2.33A but the result from simulation is I1 = 1.33A I2 = -0.66A. What is missing?

Take equation 1, you are mixing current and voltage as terms and adding them together, eg.
-3 + I1, you added a V to a current :

You cant do a V loop on all outside branches because one branch is a current source and you
cannot determine directly what its V to gnd is. So correct dual symbol I1 problem, then do
a V loop right hand window. Or maybe problem is legit with I1 labling. So do V loop right hand
window, and use the current node summation you did for currents in/out of node formed by
R1, R2, R3.

I have done the same thing
1690041339943.png

Applying voltage equation for Loop1
V1 + I1 * R2 + I2 * R3 = 0 -> eq1
V1 + I1*1e3 + I2*2e3 = 0 -> eq2

Current equation at point "A"
2 + I2 = I1 -> eq3 substituting eq3 in eq2
V1 + I1 * 1e3 + (I1 - 2) *2e3 = 0;
-3 + I1 e3 + 2I1e3 - 4e3 = 0;
-3 + 3I1e3 - 4e3 = 0;
I1 = 4003/3000 = 1.33A
I2 = I1 - 2 = 1.33 - 2 = -0.67A

The problem is i did not consider the K value in the resistor.
