It would be nice if the smart folk, like you would extend those brains
to being smart enough to trim the irrelevant parts of your reply away.

None of it was irrelevant, fuckwit.

You the village eejut, fuckwit ?
You put down one idiot's remarks, replying to one sentence,

Even you should be able to count the number replied to, fuckwit.
yet your stupid ass STILL quoted the entire tripe post.

I dont actually have a donkey, smart or stupid, fuckwit.

And if I did, I certainly wouldnt let it use my PC.
You need to get more clues than those you have chosen to embrace, boy.

Heard the one about your head and a dead bear's arse, child ?

With somebody offering to make a prototype ...

Who also doesnt have a clue about the basic physics either.

Plenty make 'prototypes' of perpetual motion machines all the time.

Now now...

Nobody who knows the physics involved says that you can't make a
prototype peltier air conditioner. You could, for example, replace
some walls with banks of cpu peltiers, arrange for your local power
company to supply a gazillion ampere feed to run them, then buy
and tear down the houses on both sides to give a buffer big enough
so that the exterior/hot side doesn't burn the paint off, and then
go deaf from the sound of thousands and thousands of little fans...

Don't confuse the impossible with the stupid.

Now wait a sec... I didn't say I would build
the proto type using MY money... but if he wants
one could have it up and running in a couple weeks...

**Sure. I'll take his money too. I've been mucking about with Peltiers for
the best part of 20 years. Nothing much has changed, either. They're neat,
but they'll never make an air conditioner obsolete.

No one ever said you cant. Whether it makes
any sense at all 'to make a prototype' tho.

Anyone with a clue about the basic physics would realise that its
never gunna be a viable product, just because of the running cost.

No... YOU ARE! Bwahahahahaha... You are a usenet clueless ****.

No, YOU ARE A DONKEY, boy.
And if I did, I certainly wouldnt let it use my PC.

Then you'd better go back out in the yard, and tie yourself back up.
Heard the one about your head and a dead bear's arse, child ?

I got nine inches of "child" for yer lame ass, little girl.

You are still clueless as you did not get the meaning of the post...
at all. I din't expect a usenet retard like you to get it though.

You are so full of yourself that you feel that you are incapable of

You're the pathetically confused, stupid.

I can tell the difference between a perpetual motion machine
(impossible) and a peltier air conditioner (possible but stupid),
and I can tell that "stupid" and "never gunna be a viable product"
are roughly equivalent (which means that I can read, unlike you),
so it's pretty clear who is "pathetically confused" here.

Feel free to pick up your clue at the door on the way out.
Thanks for playing. Better luck next time. Bye Bye!

Domestic fan heaters are cheap but air conditioners are a lot more
expensive.

There seem to be lots of cheap Peltier cooling devices coming to the market.
I was wondering whether a fan could be combined with a Peltier device to
make a cheap air conditioner.

gtoomey

My old car's airconditioner is broken and the fan on the dash
does not work all the time. I was supposed to mount a Peltier
decive to the cars metal roof and blow the fan's air across
the inside plate to my face.

Except the car is so old I am supposed to fix the nicer one
and get rid of it. So five years later the same situation
exists. I really just need to play with the device and see how
nice a cool air it would make.

A device mounted to the window would also work. just
make a gooy paste connection of the device to the glass
and have a large thin metal flange covering the hot spot
on the window.

So the cold inside device plate is ready to cool.

Cheap spot air conditioning.

Me thinks yer an idiot. Blowing a breeze over a flat plate is about
as efficient as your "cheap" remark is true. Near nil. You need a
heat sink on the cold side to conduct heat out of the air which you
are passing over the fins. A flat plate is...well...retarded.

As far as it being "cheap" , it is not. It is a very INEFFICIENT
(you do understand that word, don't you) heat conversion device.

Anyone know what's happening with thermal diodes?

Never heard of them. But, then again, if you read a description for a
Peltier device you will see it described as 'a series of PN
junctions'. So, just maybe, a thermal diode is a Peltier device by
another name.

Look, retard boy... usenet is an anonymous place. Specifically to
remain AWAY from retarded twits like you.

I cower behind nothing, desperately or otherwise.

I do know how to properly post in usenet, however, unlike your lame,

Wrong. Fact is, you cannot admit that you don't trim shit and are
too fucking lazy to do so.

My insults are well placed if you are too fucking wussified to take
the statement for what it was worth, and you are.

You didn't need to quote the whole fucking thing, DIPSHIT.

What part of that is so hard for you to admit? ALL of it, because
you are a fucking retard as it relates to usenet.

Then you should have said that. The bare mention of a perpetual

comment about being ignorant obout physics gave the impression
that you considered them to be of the same class.

Don't blame me for your inability to express yourself clearly on
the first try. Perhaps if you spent more time on writing clearly
and less time on pitiful attempts at insults this would be less
of a problem for you.

fool like you wouldnt jump to completely erroneous conclusions when
reading it, posts would be FAR too boring to be worth reading.

I state for the record that I can build a working prototype
peltier based room AC unit for about $2,000 (Depends
on timing and prices of components at time of build)....

At no point did I ever say it was a viable alternative to
standard AC units in a marketing since....

I will even offer to build a perpetual motion ( over unity)
device to anyone's specifications for a price....

I will not assure anyone that it will work as they B'leave
it will....

Ain't capitalism grand !

Aaaah... Someone who makes sense. It's like a breath of fresh
air after Rod's pitiful attempts at constructing a flame. Thanks!

If you have already done the calculations, efficiency, power
requirements and differential hot/cold side temperatures would
be interesting. Don't go to any extra work though.
