That's strange. You seem to be posting from Iran Microsystems Ltd.
rather than a college network.

If you are a bona fide college student, try contacting CodeVision with
an explanation of what you're trying to do. Companies often find it
beneficial to support school projects and they might (or might not)
support you with a licensed version.

If the chip
manufacturers had any brains they'd give out the compilers. People
would buy the hardware just for the great software support. But hey,
its the American way, gimme, gimme ,gimme.

And it does make a difference in what gets purchased.

In a slightly different market, Xilinx and Altera have good versions of
their HDL packages available for free (as register-ware). Those packages
don't support their highest end chips nor do they include all the
optimizers but they are more than enough for modest to medium CPLD/FPGA
designs. Cypress has a reasonably-priced version that ships with a dev
kit and ISP cable.

On the other hand, Atmel and Lattice provide only time locked trial
versions or (relatively) expensive packages. (To be fair, Atmel does
provide a free version of CUPL which is great for SPLDs.)

Guess which ones get designed into our products and which ones we
never even sample?
